The Magiciens de la Terre exhibition, presented from May 18 to August 14, 1989 was organized jointly by the Musée national d'art moderne-Centre Georges Pompidou and the Grande Halle-La Villette. The “Magiciens de la Terre” project was developed by Jean-Hubert Martin with the assistance of a design committee comprising Jan Debbaut, Mark Francis and Jean-Louis Maubant, and a research committee comprising Aline Luque, André Magnin and Jacques Soulilou.
